Traders that were expecting a big change in the production numbers are disappointed after this morning’s numbers. The corn yield came in at 146.7 down 1.4 bushels an acre from last month’s number. That puts the corn number at 12,310 billion bushels- down 123 million bushels from last month. The carryout of corn only declined 23 million to 843 million because the USDA lowered animal feed usage 100 million- offsetting the 123 million decline in production.
